I saw Danielle's and is funny to see how the placement of colors can change the looks of it.
I really like Foliage, but I think i'd better make it for one of the girls. I look realy silly in hats too haha ! (like a giant easter egg)
The bamboo tape is very interesting, I'm always so sorry that we don't have as much choice in yarns over here. I ordered something 3 1? months ago for a cardigan in the US, it arrived this morning, goodbye knitting mojo ...Mariannehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04277451449801974664noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5595135059035746301.post-6206235036224044472008-04-16T07:37:00.000-07:002008-04-16T07:37:00.000-07:00I really like the colours on your baby cardigan! ...I really like the colours on your baby cardigan! I like the foliage hat - I happen to have some Malabrigo in my stash that would be a great present for my brother, so thanks for the tip!

I think your shell-top will be absolutely gorgeous as well. Isn't it interesting how ribbon yarn knits up? It makes such a cool textured effect!

Nice job with your seamless cardigan, too! I think Danielle finds the nicest patterns.Rachelhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05145855756986253836noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5595135059035746301.post-91037065460456633232008-04-15T22:50:00.000-07:002008-04-15T22:50:00.000-07:00The foliage hat is so pretty, and I love the color...The foliage hat is so pretty, and I love the color a lot :) I'm really glad that you liked my version of the baby cardi enough to inspire you to knit your own. I really like how you placed your colors. Cotton yarn does tend to be a bit harder on the hands, but this one is one of the softest I've ever used. Cost efficient too. I'm with you about this cardi, it's such a fast pattern with great no seaming finishing! Gotta love that, plus I like working from the top down a lot!Daniellehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03523330836230218377noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5595135059035746301.post-66909389852963815492008-04-15T19:27:00.000-07:002008-04-15T19:27:00.000-07:00Hiya!!You know I am luvin' your foliage! :oDYah fo...Hiya!!

You know I am luvin' your foliage! :oD

Yah for long time b-day bamboo in use!

And great combo and use of your cotton-ease!

Glad you updated as it is good to hear from you!!Virtuoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18306817256544517175noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5595135059035746301.post-17164081516823153052008-04-15T19:11:00.000-07:002008-04-15T19:11:00.000-07:00Hi Kerri! The printer is spitting out the pattern as I write this. I really like your colour combinations too, and I have knit with Cotton-Ease before, and find it OK (trying not to be a yarn snob here!) I'm definitely going to be using the chocolate brown colour with ??
P.S. The other projects look great too!Audreyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18442539939746745122noreply@blogger.com
